Double Numérique
Project management assistance for services design and deployment of the Double Numerique of the Centre National de la Danse

Created in 1998 by the French Ministry of Culture, the CN D (Centre National de la Danse) is a resource center for the dance sector and its audiences. It is committed to making its dance-related resources accessible to as many people as possible. The CN D supports and trains professional dancers, encourages amateur practice, facilitates research, preserves and promotes choreographic heritage, supports the creation of choreographic works in all their diversity, and fosters dialogue with other artistic fields. It is based in Pantin, with an additional branch in Lyon.
The CN D has embarked on a digital transformation by launching the creation of a native digital platform named Double Numérique, and has entrusted reciproque with supporting the project through an assessment of the current situation, identification of service and content needs, and development strategy.
This Double Numérique will strengthen the CN D’s position as a leading and unifying institution. As a shared resource tool, it will promote the circulation of data and serve as a valuable asset for dance professionals and cultural institutions in France and internationally. The Digital Twin will become the CN D’s future platform for digital content and services. It will aggregate content produced and archived by the CN D since its inception, provide open access to its heritage media library, and allow users to contribute to its enrichment.

This platform will offer a centralized access point for a wide range of information and resources specific to the dance sector, along with functionalities designed for both professional and amateur audiences, all while ensuring the highest respect for private and sensitive data. The Double Numérique aims to unify all of the CN D’s digital platforms under a single address and to transform its digital interactions with users in a sustainable way — providing greater comfort, security, and relevance for all, in the years to come.
