Archipel
Graphic design for Inrap's scientific resources access platform
Inrap asked reciproque to design and build a platform for accessing archaeological scientific knowledge, incorporating an open data approach and in-depth consideration of the design of semantic interfaces.
The Archipel platform brings together and shares scientific data on almost 50,000 archaeological operations, 60,000 scientific reports and publications, and 2,500 research projects, produced by more than 4,000 people who work or have worked for Inrap.

reciproque carried out a complete functional design mission, from the definition of requirements to the final development of the platform, including the definition of navigation, user paths, the design of graphic mock-ups, the creation of the graphic system and the interface code. The project was developed in iterations alongside :probabl, a publisher and integrator of open source AI solutions, and Brave Cactus, the front-end development team.
This project, financed by the Fonds pour la transformation de l'action publique, aims to increase the visibility, transparency and impact of the Institute's work, while promoting scientific exchanges, showcasing Inrap staff and controlling the re-use of data. reciproque is continuing its collaboration with Inrap to enable continuous improvement of the platform.
