«The Dunes is a response to the digital economy in its physical representation. This production is certainly a new reference, in terms of spatial and managerial innovation and a new way of working in the digital age.»

The Dunes, the Val de Fontenay conference center, is the prototype for the new Société Générale work and meeting spaces. It is comprised of several spaces: the indoor road, forum, patios, restaurant services and cafeterias on the mezzanine level.

These spaces were subject to a technical and functional program in the aim of offering users new practices with a wide range of informal meeting spaces that encourage exchanges, while also ensuring high-quality and easy-to-use services.

As part of the work and meeting space study for the Dunes project, Reciproque and Labeyrie & associés worked to determine the main functional objectives and organizational options and use them as a basis for the types of spaces, equipment and furnishings to be included.

Under the leadership of the project manager, the Reciproque teams also drafted the usage scenarios while providing all the specifications for each space. All of these studies were conducted by incorporating the architectural constraints of the conference center spaces.
