Virtual tour of the Pavillon Francais
Creation of a virtual tour of the French Pavilion for Expo Osaka 2025
The Compagnie Française des Expositions (Cofrex) prepares, organises and implements France's participation in Universal and International Expositions. The next edition will be held in Osaka, Japan, from 13 April to 13 October 2025, with the central theme Designing the society of the future, imagining our life of tomorrow.
Cofrex is developing a contemporary vision of the Pavillon de la France, aligned with the most innovative technologies. These technologies occupy an essential place in the project, as they are a privileged means of enhancing interaction with visitors while showcasing France's cultural heritage in an immersive, dynamic way that is accessible to all.
The architecture of the Pavilion has been entrusted to the Coldefy and Carlo Ratti agencies, while the interior itinerary has been designed by GSM-Project in collaboration with Justine Enard. By combining technological innovation and cultural enhancement, the French project aims to become a benchmark for the visitor experience at this international exhibition.

Cofrex has asked reciproque to help it design and build a virtual tour of the French Pavilion. The aim is to build a virtual space integrating innovative digital services and to help minimise the frustration felt by the disabled public. Reciproque worked with the pavilion's curator and architect to develop a digital model that would enable both self-guided and guided tours of the pavilion, including a personalised real-time experience (day/night tours, with or without visitors, etc.).
Reciproque acted as technical delegate to the Japanese partners to ensure that the digital model was properly integrated into the Expo Osaka Online Space project.
