Le19M is a unique building located between the 19th arrondissement of Paris and the town of Aubervilliers, created by CHANEL. Le19M showcases the expertise of exceptional designers and craftsmen in the heart of Rudy Ricciotti's architectural work. 11 art houses, representing nearly 600 craftsmen and experts, have set up shop there.

The interactive, multi-disciplinary Galerie du 19M is designed to showcase and share the knowledge and expertise of the arts and crafts with the general public.

The 19M website presents each of the 11 maisons d'art, the building and a primer on fashion-related arts and crafts. It has been designed to accompany the gradual opening up of the building to the public and to those with a passion for arts and crafts.

reciproque was tasked with studying the digital communication needs, leading the design meetings with the teams during the final refurbishment of the venue, structuring the information and producing the entire website. From the initial concept right through to the technical implementation of the various components, reciproque provided proposals in an iterative fashion, building a modular and adaptable site.

The site is organised in layers. The layout is simplified to the extreme: vertical scrolling is the fundamental principle for accessing content. The page is organised into blocks of information: text, interspersed with large headings and visual elements, like the columns of a magazine, with audiovisual sequences as breathing spaces.

The visual identity of 19M was entrusted to Hort design studio, which shared the visual design of the site with reciproque.
