Since 2011, the City of Epernay has been engaged in a major renovation project for the Château Perrier to accommodate the Musée du Vin de Champagne et d’Archéologie Régionale. Substantive work is under way in the aim of offering as many people as possible the chance to discover internationally renowned collections.

Architectural and scenographic oversight was assigned to Frenak + Jullien Architectes and Lionel Dubois in 2016. By 2020, the exhibition spaces will cover an area of 850 square meters, welcoming 45,000 visitors annually.

The museographic areas feature a number of multimedia mediation tools. Education games shed some light on the displayed objects in a fun and interactive way. Reconstructions and models set the stage for the items. Mediation devices and exact replicas invite the public to touch and discover, for a better understanding of the past and the materiality of the objects.

Reciproque provided a multimedia content production framework, drafted the technical specifications, and coordinated the appointment of the companies.
